Possible cause: e.g. a bad telephone line or transmission paths, faults on the line.
Remedy:
1st step: It must first be checked whether rectification is achieved by modifying the modem properties. On the PC using Start/Control Panel/../Modem/Properties under "Advanced", the initialisation command +MS=V34,0,9600,9600 must be entered in order to achieve an improvement of the transmission at the cost of the transmission speed (the modem will be slower), see grafic.
2nd step: If this action produces the desired result, it can be concluded that (a) the telephone line to this store is bad and (b) ALL stores will generally have slower communication!
Better solution: The affected CI 3000 store computer must be configured so that it forces a slower, however more reliable connection.
3rd step: Dial in to the affected store using LDSWin, then using "Terminal Mode" in Menu 6-1-8-2, changeover to Standard slow.
4th step: On the PC, again using Start/Control Panel/../Modem/Properties under "Advanced", delete the +MS=V34,0,9600,9600 initialisation command.
