The System Centre is the cen­tral in­tel­li­gence of the E*LDS sys­tem. Via CAN bus, it com­mu­ni­cates with all com­po­nents. Store man­agers and re­frig­er­a­tion en­gi­neers can di­rect­ly ac­cess all sys­tem com­po­nents via the Central System or connect from oth­er lo­ca­tions via in­ter­net.

The USB stick is used to migrate system centres CI 4400 / CI 4500 to CI 5x00 system centres and to provide the following functions:
  • Remote update function for existing installations
  • Virtus Control Desk for configuration and diagnosis of the system centre via web browser
  • Connection to the cold portal Virtus Caelum Apps and Services
  • Memory expansion


ATTENTION! In order to exclude damage to the device/goods, it must be ensured before the upgrade that the CI 4x00 system centre is equipped with the required firmware! If the firmware of the CI 4x00 is V6.6.1 or newer must be carried out first, for details see Instructions for CI 5x00 upgrade.

The following system centres are available:
  • CI 5400
    S0/M-bus meter, BMS - successor for CI 3000 (without Modbus compact controllers)
    Modbus - successor for CI 3100, CI 4000, CI 4100
    LAN - successor for CI 4400
  • CI 5500
    CI 5400 + CAN bus repeater function - successor for CI 4500

Jeder User des EDP hat einen zusätzlichen Cloud-Speicher. Innerhalb der OwnCloud können Pfade erstellt werden, die hierüber mit einer EDP-Komponente verknüpft werden.

Auf diese Weise sind z.B. Massen-Uploads ins EDP möglich, d.h. es können beliebig viele Dokumente in den Pfad der OwnCloud kopiert werden, die dann automatisch in die zugeordnete Komponente im EDP synchronisiert werden.
